World Rowing Coastal Championships

The World Rowing Coastal Championships is an annual event in which specifically designed coastal boats for rough water are raced. This type of category is considered the most adventurist of the Olympic Rowing sport. The course is a triangle shape with buoys for the crews to navigate. It is often held along a beach. There are no lanes. The event takes place usually in Europe in the month of October and is held over three days.
This year the race will develop on November in Lima - Peru, giving to the competitors the opportunity of living a great experience, complementing the race with the visit to Machu Picchu one of the "Seven World Wonders". Peru is a country full of colors & variety, every city is absolutely different of the other, at the same time it gathers 84 of the 104 ecosystems recognized in the world, this phenomenon happens as a result of the division that the Andean Chain of Mountains produces, dividing the country in three big regions: the coast, the highland & the amazon jungle, that give us a huge diversity of flora, fauna & human cultures.
Peru is considered the second oldest cradle of civilization after the discovery of Caral, located three hours north of Lima metropolitan area. At the same time the country is well known for its great cuisine result of the fusion of the Inca’s gastronomy with the Spanish, African, Chinese, Japanese & Italian contribution result of the migration.
Lima is the only South American capital that enjoys of the ocean view, the Regatas Lima Club where the event will be develop is well known for being one of the most impressive Sport Club of the world, definitely and interesting place to visit.

Torneo Mundial de Remo Coastal

El Mundial de Remo Coastal es un evento anual donde se compite con unos botes coastal, especialmente diseñados para aguas bravas. Esta categoría del Remo Olímpico es considerada la de mayor aventura. El curso de la competencia es un triángulo con bayas y sin carriles. El evento se desarrolla normalmente en Europa durante el mes de octubre y dura normalmente tres días.
Este año la competencia se desarrollará en Lima – Perú, dando la oportunidad a los competidores de vivir una gran experiencia, complementando la competencia con una visita a Machu Pichu considerado una de las “Siete Maravillas del Mundo”. El Perú es un país lleno de color y variedad, cada ciudad es totalmente diferente de la otra y reúne 84 de los 104 ecosistemas del planeta, fenómeno que resulta al ser el país dividido por la Cadena de los Andes en tres grandes regiones: la costa, sierra y selva amazónica otorgándonos una inmensa variedad de flora, fauna y culturas vivas.
El Perú es considerado el segundo foco de civilización más antiguo del mundo, esto luego del descubrimiento de Caral ubicado a tres horas al norte de la ciudad de Lima Metropolitana. Así mismo es sumamente reconocida por tener una exquisita gastronomía que se ha formado luego de la mezcla de la gastronomía Inca con los aportes de los migrantes españoles, africanos, chinos, japonés e italianos.
