LLAQTAPATA LODGE SALKANTAY TREKKING

We are a Peruvian family, living in Llaqtapata, in the mountain in front of Machupicchu. At the beginning, we have built a restaurant in Llaqtapata, down from the Inca site, to offer meal to backpackers. Now we have a complete lodge there, with the best view of Machupicchu.
We are able to offer good treks with high quality lodge, food and high care to its passengers. We are the only trekking agency with its lodge and restaurant in front of Machupicchu. Our new project is to build a new lodge, half way between Salkantay and Llaqtapata, to create a real chain of lodges for the Salkantay.

LLAQTAPATA LODGE

Llaqtapata Lodge is located in a magical place, seeing the most famous Inca archeological site. There you can enjoy the best view of this famous Inca Site and its beautiful landscape, and also Salkantay submit, Vilcanota river, Veronica Submit and ways to Santa Teresa and Hidroelectrica. We grow local products to cook, such as coffee, banana, avocado, tomato tree, pineapple, chilli pepper “rocoto”, carrot, potato and Inca potato “olluco”. We also make honey and grow fishes.
We offer good rooms with solar hot shower (capacity : 20 people in simple, double and for three people), buffet meals, drinks and natural coffee cultivated, toasted, smashed and filtered by our own in Llaqtapata Lodge.
