During the rainy season gets (9 feet) about three meters of water, raising its level between 30 and 45 feet (10-15 meters). Every time it rains in the Amazon forest drains into the main river, thousands of acres are flooded, creating the highest level of biodiversity on the planet.

His constant temperatures create perfect conditions for life, leading to more than thousands of different species of animals, mammals (like dolphins or Amazonian manatee Rosado), fish, birds, insects and spiders.
The Amazon rainforest is the largest in the world, by its appearance, size, level of dangerousness or sound.

Flora and Fauna

It has been reported that more than 1,025 species of vertebrates, representing 27% of the diversity of these species in Peru and 36% of the total recorded for the Amazon. It has important wildlife species considered as indicators of good condition of their territories, such as the pink dolphin (Inia geoffrensis), dolphin gray (Sotalia fluviatilis), the front yellow monkey (Ateles beltzebuth), otter (Pteronura brasiliensis), the jaguar or jaguar (Panthera onca), the peccary (Tayassu peccary), collared peccary (Tayassu tajacu), the red deer (Mazama americana), the monkey (Ateles paniscus), the red howler (Alouatta seniculus) and woolly monkey (Lagothrix lagothricha).

Also highlights the presence of a large number of ornamental fish for export, such as tiger zúngaro (tigrinus peruvianus) arahuana (Osteoglossum bicirrhosum), stripe (Potamotrygon motoro), the tetra (Hyphessobrycon erythrostigma) and dozens of other species.

Regarding the flora, the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve is home to 965 species of wild plants and 59 cultivated plants. Its value for the protection of diversity
