Cultura Paraiso includes three components — all of which focus on the natural benefits of Peru.

-Cultura Paraiso Centro

We have developed Cultura Paraiso Centro as a sustainable living project in the Manu Amazon Jungle of Peru. The facility’s goal is to promote awareness of the earth and this incredible natural resource by offering an opportunity to live, learn and work in the Amazon jungle with native locals and our team. The project incorporates recreational and educational activities such as permaculture and bio-construction courses that serve to preserve the environment in one of the most beautiful places on earth.

You may wish to come to Cultura Paraiso Centro as a volunteer. Volunteering activities will depend on what you bring to the program. There are always jobs to be done. The jungle offers many fun and exciting activities. Guided by our staff, you can learn what it means to live naturally in the Manu Amazon. For example:
•Bio-construction: Building structures on the property
•Permaculture courses: Working on the farm and gardens
•Enjoy nature walks, to observe many species
•Drift downstream in a boat to look for animals on the river banks
•Swim in the river
•Relax in a hammock and listen to the sounds of the jungle
While you enjoy these activities, you will also learn about the environment and how the native people use what’s available in the jungle to live their daily lives.

-Cultura Paraiso Café

Cultura Paraiso Café seeks to provide a space where people from around the world can come together and share ideas while enjoying a healthy meal. Located in Cusco, Peru — Near Machu Picchu one of the Seven Wonders of the World— the café caters to everyone, acknowledging their culture or special dietary needs. Due to our international clientele, the café’s menu features a combination of local Peruvian cuisine and worldwide staples such as pizza, tacos, and sushi, including options for vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free diets.
The food offered in the café will always feature local and organic ingredients from small family farms as well as from our own Cultura Paraiso Centro farm and gardens.

To further promote a cultural and entertaining environment, we would offer live music/open mic nights, movie nights, and other cultural activities.

-Cultura Paraiso Tours

Finally, Cultura Paraiso Tours is an alternative travel agency offering small group tours to the “must see” destinations of the Cusco region of Peru. We can show our guests such sites as the wonder of the world, Machu Picchu, our Centere in the Manu Amazon, and other more exclusive places — always treading lightly to minimize our impact on the local environment. To create the most authentic experience, our tour guides include members of the local community aided by translators, traveling by local transportation.
