Youth Wise Trust (formerly the work known as Secret Level) is a youth organisation that is focused youth development. YWT is currently operating in Taita/Pomare and also Wainuiomata. Our mobile “Youth Team” operates the Taita Youth hub based on Walter Nash Park. We also run youth projects in Wainuiomata called Biketec and we operate Community Event Hire. www.youthwisetrust.org.nz

Youth Team

Youth Wise Trust have now formed a mobile youth Team that is focused on assisting other youth organisations to achieve their goals in their communities around the Hutt Valley. We have a small team of youth workers and a lot of experience in all areas of youth work from advice about how to structure your youth program/space to assisting you with your event or activity. Biketec

Youth Wise Trust has a program called Biketec that is all about young people and cycles, We have a professional cycle workshop in Wainuiomata and we teach young people skills in cycle mechanics, we do this on site on a Thursday night and in schools regularly. We also do bike fix ups in schools (primary) throughout the year. Biketec has a store of 25 mountain bikes made for the trails and based at the awesome Wainuiomata trails, we use these bikes for taking young people in groups on trail riding experiences.

Community Event Hire

Youth Wise Trust has collectively over 30 years of experience in the event and PA business running events and shows both in schools out in a field/street or in a venue, we have literally organized both small and large events from youth events to community street carnivals and everything in between. We have worked in the not for profit sector for 15 years and we know that it can be difficult to hire the right PA (and afford it) for your event, that is why we started Community Event Hire We have professional skills in organizing and production of events and we own 5 professional Public Address systems and we can operate them for you. Our PA service is for hire to community events at a low cost (we try to keep it as cheap as possible sometimes free) depending on who the hirer is and the times of use.
