succeed in education, training or work based learning.

NEET Programme

Youth aged 16 and 17 years old who are Not engaged in Education, Employment or
Training.

Youth are identified via information shared between the Ministry of Education (MOE) and the Ministry of Social Development (MSD).

It is a voluntary service, which will provide mentoring, advice, and ongoing support
for youth.

Youth Payment

Youth aged 16 and 17 years old, who are
receiving financial assistance from Work and Income.

Youth aged 16 to 19 years old, who are
receiving financial assistance from Work and Income.

All Payments are done via on-line referrals. Online applications are completed via the Work and Income website.

Supporting Youth to meet their obligations to continue to receive financial assistance.
Achieving education, training or work-based learning, and life skills, such as budgeting
and parenting.
