Nestled alongside the Mangawhero River off of the Parapara highway (State Highway 4), YMCA Camp Raukawa offers a variety of outdoor activities that promote teamwork and nurture individual growth. Our instructors are highly trained professionals who provide a supportive and safe environment for your enjoyment. We offer catered and non-catered camps where groups have the opportunity to thrive in a challenging environment. At YMCA Camp Raukawa having fun comes second only to being safe!

Whether you want to relax in the cool waters of the Mangawhero or fly through the air screaming, YMCA Camp Raukawa is sure to offer an activity that suits you. We offer the following instructor or self-led on and off-site activities:

RAC is capable of handling groups of varying sizes; from small private groups to large, triple digit gatherings, our facilities and staff are prepared to undertake your group today!

We routinely welcome birthday parties, social gatherings, company retreats/team building, reunions of all sorts and have even hosted weddings. Whatever sort of group you may be, we're sure we have something for you!

Aside from private group bookings we offer our Holiday Programmes. Parents can expect their children to return home from an exciting week with a smile and heaps of stories to tell. All Holiday Programme children receive three fresh meals a day with delicious snacks during breaks.

Want to volunteer? Our Holiday Programmes utilize the help of our fantastic team of Junior and Senior Leaders throughout the week. Our Leaders enjoy a week at Camp Raukawa learning new skills and making new friends. If you are over the age of 14 you are eligible to come up to Camp as a Leader for our next Holiday Programme!
