WASHINGTON WAY RESERVE SKATE PARK 4.9

Washington Way Reserve Skatepark opened in 1998 to give a place for skaters go following the Council's attempts to ban skateboaring through its bylaws within the central city. Despite it's popularity and high use, the final stage is still to be completed. Designs have been done, the resource consent has been granted and the money has finally been put into the Council's 2012/13 annual plan.
