Tu Wahine Trust 2.13

For over 25 years, Tu Wahine Trust has been providing specialist Kai Awhina, Kai Korero (Counselling and Therapy) services in West Auckland to support educate and heal through a Maori pathway.

We provide a safe space for sensitive issues to be raised by whanau or any whanau member.

We aim to develop and establish Maori Women, their children and their whanau into positions of empowerment through increasing their perspectives in relation to the issue of violence and abuse on a spiritual, physical, cultural and economic basis.

Part of the process of empowerment of Maori Women is to support Maori Men into complimentary roles within their own whanau.
