Start your Northland Adventure with us as a base. We are located 15 minutes east of Whangarei in the spectacular Whangarei Heads area. It is quiet and peaceful in a family friendly, spacious home with large garden, water features, bromeliads, native fish and eel to feed.

A short drive takes you to beautiful ocean beaches, great coastal walks, climb Mt Manaia for exercise and amazing views making the climb very worthwhile – an experience not to be forgotten. Golf at the Pines, just 5 minutes drive. There are also 4 golf courses within a half hours drive of us. Visit Whangarei City with the attractive Town basin, Clapham’s clock museum, art galleries, shops and restaurants. Reid Memorial Park with bush board walks and Whangarei Falls. Day trips can be made easily from us, all within 90 minutes to Bay of Islands, West coast – Waipoua forest and Tane Mahuta - the big kauri tree. Visit Matakohe Kauri Museum and Northland’s coastal areas and attractions.

Our accommodation consists of a self contained two bedroom Top Storey apartment with water views and a pool table. with air conditioning. Also a Garden Unit which sleeps 4 and opens onto a conservatory and garden where you can enjoy your morning cuppa! Top Storey sleeps 4 with a sofa bed for another 2. and have TV, DVD, DVD library, radio/CD, tea and coffee making, also a well equipped kitchenette with microwave, fridge , small oven and basic cooking facilities for self catering. We have free wireless internet. Children are welcome. A Portacot and high chair are available on request. The garden unit only is suitable for pets as it is fenced and secure

A good continental or cooked breakfast is included in our tariff. There are restaurants nearby within a short drive.
