The Pharmacy Guild of New Zealand’s Facebook page is used to engage with our members, pharmacy staff, pharmacy students, our business partners, and other stakeholders.

We are a not-for-profit organisation, representing community pharmacy owners in New Zealand and are committed to ensuring our members realise their professional potential. We aim to raise the profile of community pharmacy in New Zealand, and promote community pharmacists as key providers of primary health care and as the health professional seen most often.

We have developed the following guidelines to ensure our page remains a safe, professional, friendly and supportive environment for those who want to engage with us and discuss pharmacy and health care on this platform.

These guidelines apply to anyone who chooses to use the Pharmacy Guild of New Zealand’s Facebook page. By using this page and posting a comment or other content, you agree to these terms.

The Pharmacy Guild of New Zealand reserves the right to remove, edit, or otherwise modify any posting that does not adhere to these guidelines.

1. Please respect other users. This means that your comments/posts must not be inappropriate, abusive or otherwise offensive, and must not contain, discuss, depict or involve, without limitation, any of the following: profanity or otherwise crude, vulgar or offensive language; derogatory characterisations of any ethnic, racial, sexual or religious groups; content that endorses, condones or discusses any illegal, inappropriate or risky activity, behaviour or conduct.

2. The Pharmacy Guild of New Zealand respects intellectual property laws. By posting material on our Facebook page, you represent that you have the right to share the material in your posting, including, without limitation, trademarks and copyrighted material.

3. Any postings that contain advertisements, "spam" or junk mail content, off-topic posts by a single user, or repetitive posts copied and pasted, or duplicated by single or multiple users, will be removed.

4. Comments posted on this page are those of the authors and are not endorsed by, nor do they necessarily reflect, the opinions of the Pharmacy Guild of New Zealand.

Repeatedly violating these guidelines will result in being removed from the Facebook page.

The Pharmacy Guild of New Zealand understands that social media operates around the clock, however our moderation capabilities only operate Monday to Friday during normal working hours. While inappropriate comments may not be seen right away, they will be managed as soon as possible.
