Genuine Manuka Honey contains a number of special chemical markers that indicate the content of the honey. The UMF® grading system is a measure of these attributes and assures purity and quality. Only a small percentage of Manuka Honey contains the characteristics required to be labelled as having the Unique Manuka Factor (UMF®).
