The Labour Exchange has been operating for 20+ years providing an efficient labour supply to the greater Auckland area and more recently to Christchurch. We have always specialized in the construction and civil industries and as a result we fully understand the safety and work experience requirements of our clients.

We are known as "the good bastards" in the industry. To us, a "good bastard" or "GB" is someone who is a great mate, totally reliable, honest, approachable, hard case, genuine, willing to go the extra mile and accountable for their actions. We prefer to do business with "GB's" like ourselves and we celebrate this by giving out a "Good Bastard Awards" each month to our top performing employees!

Our focus on safety and service has meant we have become the preferred supplier to a large number of major construction and civil companies. We pride ourselves on these strong relationships and ensure they are maintained by constantly visiting our clients’ sites and getting to know the site managers personally. This helps us to understand specific site requirements and means we send workers who are the best fit for that particular job.

The Labour Exchange is based in Parnell, Auckland and currently has 300 good people working daily. We carry out safety inductions to all new workers before they begin work and conduct on-site toolbox talks as well as site monitoring every week. We have also been Site Safe members since its inception.
