Welcome to The Argoed, one of Dunedin’s outstanding stately homes.
Suitably situated in a sun-trap amidst the trees of the Dunedin Town Belt, the Welsh name means 'by a wood' or 'near to the trees'.
The three rooms available for booking are named after the trees each overlooks: oak, copper beech and rata. The grounds feature numerous rhododendrons and almost one hundred rose bushes that begin to bloom in early spring and continue flowering until winter.
