Atawhai Te Kohanga Reo has been established in the Ngati Tuwharetoa district for 30 years, continuing on the kaupapa of the Kohanga Reo movement being Te Reo me ona Tikanga.

Our current space capacity is 22 tamaiti ranging from 8 months to 5 years.

This page is to enlighten whanau and the community of our Kohanga Reo, and we welcome people of all ethnicities who are interested in their children learning our rich Tikanga and Te Reo. By being immersed in this world our tamaiti will grow to be strong, independent leaders of the future.
