Tauranga Embroiderers' Guild 2.44

The Guild meets every Wednesday at the Tauranga Rowing Clubrooms in Memorial Park off Devonport Road in Tauranga. Hours are 10am - 2pm (sometimes longer) and 7.30pm - 9.30pm.

We cater for stitchers of all abilities, from beginner to advanced, and endeavour to encourage everyone to explore their stitching potential. Formal classes are run at the Guild on a regular basis and we also bring in outside tutors two or three times per year. After school classes are also run during the school term. Informal tutoring occurs all the time with various members offering their assistance. We have an extensive library which is available at no cost for Guild members. As a member of the Association of New Zealand Embroidery Guilds, we also have access to their learning resources.

Whether you do cross stitch or any other form of needlework, or want to learn any particular needlework technique, whether it be traditional or modern, we have members who can help you learn in a friendly, social gathering. A warm welcome awaits you.
