We believe New Zealanders should have access to good quality tamarillos at affordable prices. Everyone knows that seasonal fruit grown locally is more nutritious. Buying local means you are helping your own community and economy as well as reducing your carbon footprint. Our passion as a tamarillo grower is to grow and sell high quality tamarillos. Tamarillos are an important source of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Tamarillos are an excellent source of antioxidants because it contains a type of flavonoid known as anthocyanins. Tamarillos also contain carotenoids, lycopene and beta carotene (vitamin A).
