Based in Auckland, New Zealand, swim7.co.nz was founded in 2013 by sport-nut kiwi Cathy Awatere.

Returning home after years of travel and work in London, Dubai, Hong Kong and Singapore; Cathy recognised the swimwear shopping experience in New Zealand differed remarkably from offshore markets characterized by limited brands & designs, inadequate sizing & product advice and poor product return handling.

Swim7 changed this overnight with a passionate commitment to providing customers an easy-to-use store offering a huge range of premium brands from around the world, at competitive prices and with outstanding local delivery and returns.

What began as filling a niche gap in the market is now one of the top ranking online swimwear stores in New Zealand. In 2014, swim7 skipped across the Pacific opening the USA store then kept on going to the United Kingdom and Germany.
