Hi I am Suzie Rutz,


I am a Freelance Makeup Artist based in Hamilton, the Waikato Region of New Zealand. I travel throughout New Zealand for bridal and commercial work and always offer a professional, friendly, and reliable service.

I have worked in many areas of Makeup including: photography; commercial; websites; fashion; runway; hair competition/shows; magazines (Women’s Weekly, Women’s Day, New Idea, New Zealand Weddings - Bride of the Year 2010); marketing, glamour, special occasion and of course balls, weddings.

I have worked in the Cosmetic Industry since I left school....which is a very long time ago! However, my adventure started in the UK where I worked for Shiseido UK Ltd for three years. On my return home I started with Shiseido NZ Ltd team and worked here for a further seven years. While working for this prestige company I was extensively trained in all aspects of Sales, Skincare and Makeup. Over the years I have gained a wealth of experience which has got me where I am today. I have now been a freelance makeup artist for the last 12 years.
