Argan oil known as the hair and beauty "Elixir" is an oil extracted from the nut of the Argania Spinosa kernel,which is grown only in one particular region of Morocco.
In the past and up until now only the traditional ethnic women of the Berber tribe are taught how to make Argan oil by hand and are the sole-gatekeepers of the secrets of the traditional system of making it.The matriarchal dominance of the production of Argan oil has given women the opportunity to earn money independently and now there are about 22 cooperatives established using the traditional method
of extracting Argan oil and these cooperatives protect and promote the rights of women in this industry.

Argan oil is said to acquire distinctive properties that have made it a favourite of the aesthetic and health care industry.

Argan oil - Also known as 'liquid gold' - has a multitude of beauty uses.it can be applied to the face,hair,body and cuticles and is often added to other products.
It helps to heal,soften and treat split ends,treat acne,dry and irritated skin,prevent scarring and unwanted blemishes and is also gentle yet rich enough to use on babies.(especially good for cradle cap)It is also touted as an anti-aging product,helping to minimise fine lines and wrinkles.Argan oil has a mild,nutty scent and is odourless.

It must be kept in a dark glass bottle as light breaks down Argan oils healing and restorative properties.
It is known to contain vitamin A,E and amino acids to great for healing.
It is also cold pressed.
