Stag Point Limited is a an epic 200+hectare hunting block 30 minutes North from New Zealand’s Capital City, Wellington.

From dense native New Zealand bush, through to wide open grass clearings and magical sunsets. Stag Point not only appeals to hunters, but also nature lovers, photographers, and those wanting to experience the true beauty of Wellingtons rugged back country.

Stag Point caters for all types of hunters, from novice through to the most experienced. Whether you want to take your child out for their first hunt, need a hunting fix, or just don’t have the time for a week long venture anymore. Stag Point is for you. All hunting is fully guided and under experienced supervision.

Novice hunters can be catered for with all equipment provided. It is not necessary to hold a NZ fire arms licence. Bow hunters also have the opportunity to stalk and shoot an animal within the game estate.

A Health and Safety Plan has been written for the game estate and all hunters undergo a ‘safety’ induction to the property. Our clients’ safety is paramount at all times.

We can guarantee an animal when hunting within the game estate (see prices below). There are also other hunting opportunities (trophy hunts or pig hunting) at other sites throughout NZ that our experienced guide can help organise for you.

Arrangements can also be made for overnight hunting expeditions.

* All prices include a trained guide for a maximum of 8 hours with flexible start time. Animals are guaranteed.

Free-range pig and Goat (on various sites)

• 6 Hour Guided Hunt with one of New Zealand’s top pig hunters: $400.00

• Small pig - $150.00
• Medium pig - $180.00
• Large Boar - $300.00
• Goat - $100.00
