Sheidinice Kennel - Border Collies & Samoyeds 3.17

Sheidinice Kennels are a small breeding kennel in the township of Katikati, Bay Of Plenty New Zealand . All our ‘fur kids’ are members of our family first and formost with all being trained and successfully compete in the sport of Competition Dog Obedience and or Breed Showing. We pride ourselves on all our dogs having exceptional temperaments plus an eagerness & willingness to work. All our Border Collie breeding stock are DNA tested for CEA, CL & TNS which guarantees no puppy bred here will ever develop any of these terrible diseases, and all our beautiful Samoyeds are Hip & Elbow scored

All the pups I breed are registered with the NZKC ( New Zealand Kennel Club) on the restricted/pet register. The reason I do this and the reason the NZKC has this registration, is to help protect our beautiful breed from being sent to 'not so dog friendly countries' and to also stop unregistered 'Backyard Kennels' from breeding unregistered dogs.
This procedure is designed not to put prospective puppy owners off, but to show that we take our breeding seriously and that even once they have left us and gone to their new loving family & homes, we always have their welfare in mind.

Am happy to discuss with overseas people any puppy requirements they may have, except those from Asia, as Sheidincie Kennels DOES NOT support any exporting of dogs to Asian countries.

We have owned Samoyeds now for 17 years and Border Collies for 11 years but have only started breeding these lovely breeds in the past few years, as I wanted to learn as much as possible about the breeds conformations and Breed Standard and correct Structure, so that when making decision of a Sire or Dam, I knew what I needed to use to improve on what I had. Temperament and structure are FIRST & foremost the MOST important thing that we breed for.

Myself and my husband have been training and competing in the sport of Competition Dog Obedience now for over 12 years with both our Samoyeds and Border Collies. This and my love of animals, has led me to a path of training dogs in a class situation within our local community where I run domestic Dog Obedience classes from pups as young as 3 months of age.
