Congratulations on you pregnancy! I always aim to empower and support women throughout their pregnancy, birth and postnatal period. My passion is to deliver safe, highly competent, women centred midwifery care. I believe that pregnancy and birth are normal life events and that each woman is unique in her childbirth experience. I provide women with up to date evidence based information allowing and encouraging women to choose what is right for them and their whanau. Recognising each woman as an individual allows me to offer care specific to each woman's needs. I am in a privileged position to help support and care for you and your whanua. With various clinical experience including working in a delivery unit in a third world hospital in Vanuatu, where I worked for several weeks, I not only can look after normal pregnancies, but can quickly refer and act if there are complications in order to keep you & your baby safe.
