Pineapple Soup is for all children. Drama isn't just for those who want to take the stage and become the next Johnny Depp. Theatre has long been an instrument for change and challenging and confronting social constructs, cultural ideals and preconceived notions. For children, drama workshops and classes bring about change from within. Drama builds confidence, develops imagination; patience, physical co-ordination, memory and speaking skills. And that is just the tip of the iceberg! It is a well known fact that for many people, delivering a speech in public holds a greater fear than death itself, yet during the school years and in many work places it is a necessity. I am here to offer a fun, vibrant, affordable service to children from 5-13 years of age which will provide them with skills they will carry through life. In addition to this it is my aim to teach and refine acting (performance) skills, something very different from your average speech and drama classes.
