Naomi is a passionate osteopath and yoga teacher committed to the holistic health of her patients and students. Her interest in the use of osteopathy and yoga for stress management and musculoskeletal pain shaped her Master’s research investigating if yoga and prescribed exercise are beneficial for chronic neck pain.

Naomi completed her yoga teacher training at the Sivananda ashram in Kerala, southern India, in the traditional Hatha style. Her classes include stretching, strengthening, breathing exercises, and relaxation. Naomi combines her osteopathic knowledge with her yoga teaching offering yoga group classes, and yoga therapy sessions. Group classes cater to all levels including beginners, and therapy sessions are designed according to individual needs including specific injury management, pain relief, stress management, postural improvement, breathing retraining, and the enhancement of general health and well-being.

Naomi teaches yoga with the view that practice is all about improving what happens off the mat. She resides in Muriwai and enjoys anything in nature, namely surfing and snowboarding.
