Making a positive change for child poverty and inequality in our own">Let's start a revolution!

Thousands of children in our country are living in poverty through no fault of their own. Lets change that!!

Let's look after our Palmy children by making a pledge to make a difference. There are things we can all do, as there are so many wonderful charities doing wonderful things!

Palmy Revolution's slogan is "Families Supporting Families". We are focused on making a positive change for child poverty and inequality in our own community.

Founded September 2014, we aspire to encourage everyone in our city to consider ways that they can help those who are struggling. We believe that we live in a caring city- a city that believes that all of our local children should be supported to thrive and succeed.

Examples of ways in which YOU can make a difference:

-an extra can of peanut butter in your shopping taken to a school for their breakfast club,

-a bag of apples dropped at a kindy for them to give to those in need,

-an hour of your time to volunteer at Just Zilch - Palmerston North's Free Store,

-extra vegies from the garden taken to a church or social agency,

-oranges from your tree dropped to a neighbour with a large family,

-a clean out of clothes that no longer fit given to a family.....etc...

Our schools, day cares and preschools know who is in need....they can pass on for you. Or you can drop donations off to Palmy Revolution at 10 Pascal Street for us to redistribute on your behalf to those in need or an appropriate charity. We all know people- let's spread the word to businesses, politicians, and people who are able to help and ask them to do so. Let's make Palmy a place who cares about their children! Share share share and make a pledge!!!
