Only One 2.15

Founded by Mama Jane Adu in 2000, Potters Village is a home for vulnerable women and currently about 100 children, many of whom are orphans. It relies mainly on donations from local churches, organisations and visiting volunteers and does not receive any government or other official aid.

Often, there is no food in the home, apart from some rice and other basic staples. It is clear that whilst the volunteers (mostly young people with not a lot of income themselves) are generous, it would be a major help if there was a regular income that could be depended on, however small.

I realise that many of the volunteers who have been there would love to contribute once they get back home but don't have enough money to feel that anything they could give would make a difference, so I have set up Only One as a way for people to give as little as $1 per month and make a huge difference.
