Akash (Sound Experience)
Old Fort showcases exotic Indian traditional arts combined with classical and fusion music. Old Fort strives to be a platform where Indian artists can share their ingenious talents with New Zealand.


Agni (Art/ Vision Experience)
Old Fort’s premier art wall features Gond tribal art painting. Gond art is the way back to a time so ancient and to people that perhaps were the earliest inhabitants of India, the Gond people of Central India. Well-known painter Venkat Shyam Gond is eminent for his traditional painting and takes us into his world, a settlement by the River Narmada in Amarkantak, Madhya Pradesh as well as to the world of his experiences and imagination. Old Fort strives to be a hub for Indian artists and musical talents to come together and showcase their work.

Vayu (Touch/Textures)
The entire Old Fort is filled with textures and colours from all over India inspired by the architecture from forts, burg, palaces and castles.

Jal/Apas (Taste)
The menu is specially designed to keep the refined taste of exotic and authentic flavors of India along with the diversity of westernized dishes on an upscale. Old Fort’s menu provides a unique and modern take on authentic tapas and small plates as well. Old Fort’s food creations of new Indian mixed with fusion are no doubt best described as a melting pot of senses.
