Kia ora and Welcome to Okeanos Aotearoa Waka Tours. We are a newly established cultural and eco-tourism operation launching in Feb 2017. Our kaupapa or philosophies derive from the essence of Waka Moana and Waka Kaupapa. We are apart of the greater vision to contribute to the survival of our traditions, our culture, our language and heritage. We use the Waka Motu as a vessel to share our stories and our culture, and who we are to the world. It is the platform to strengthen and develop our youth and contribute to the transmission of these traditions to the next generations. We are bringing awareness of the importance of our ocean and the sustainability of it, and ultimately to life.
