Professional horse schooling, sales and Starting of young horses.

At Mustang Equestrian we have had many year’s experience in the equine industry. I have competed up to 2 star level eventing and have show- jumped to 1.25m. I have been a member of the Otago southland are nzpca champs team and have completed Springston Trophy 10 times. As well as training and starting many young horses to produce excellent competition mounts.

to add to my resume I have also spent the last 6 months working as a full time rider for Alycia Burton and Classic Performance horses.

I offer professional schooling, sales on behalf, fixing behavioural issues, fixing jump technique and starting of horses and ponies at very competitive rates.
I can also provide with fitness work


Rates and services
Please note all prices are including grazing and GST but excluding hay, hard feed etc.

Schooling
We supply a variety of schooling services for any discipline. We can provide dressage training, Jump schooling/retraining and mileage for green horses.
We also have a are very experienced in long term fixes for behavioural issues.

Competition experience
Competition experience can be provided to schoolers/ sale on behalf horses at discretion. Horses are competed on at owner’s risk.
Full travel cost and entry fees must be paid.

Sell on behalf
We supply a very professional sell on behalf service. We provide a full service where horses will be schooled, full photography and videography, advertising through active market resources and shown to any prospective buyers by us.
All horse will be accessed and advertised appropriately to insure a suitable home is found.

Starting
We also provide a breaking in and starting service. All horses must be able to lead, tie and have had basic interaction with people.
Please note I cannot guarantee a horse will be started in a certain amount of weeks as all horses are different but generally it takes 4-6 weeks

One off schooling/ assessment
We are available for one off schooling or assessment for your horse which can include jumping, schooling, assessment of behavioural issues and prior sales assessment
The fee will also be wiped it you proceed to send your horse for schooling or sale on behalf.
Prices starting from $50 per hour plus travel

Lessons
Professional lessons can also be provided. Lessons can be given for any age or discipline from beginner riders to those wanted to progress in with their competing.
Price starting at $35 for 45 minutes plus ground fee

I also offer a discounted pick up and drop off service.
