MJ Dance Academy 3.63

My name is Melissa Caddle and I am the principal of MJ Dance Academy on the West Coast. I have been a dancer my whole life and love both dancing itself and being able to share this with others. I am most passionate about helping young dancers experience dance and achieve a balance of discipline and fun. My vision is to encourage participation and enjoyment, as well as the pursuit of excellence, so that every dancer has the chance to become the very best that they can possibly be.

I hold a NZ Diploma of Commercial Dance and am also a fully qualified teacher with the British Ballet Organisation. I have over 25 years of dancing experience, 15 years of those being in a teaching capacity. As a dancer I have completed examinations to an advanced level in tap, jazz, and ballet with honours. I have also had many performance achievements including numerous championship competition successes, as well as participation in national PACANZ competitions, and acceptance into the NZ School of Dance. As a teacher I have taught examinations also to an advanced level, and choreographed and instructed numerous solo through to group performances as part of competitions or show productions.
