COMMUNITY STANDING
The Founder of Miss Lilly’s Angel Trust is a trusted award-winning small business owner based in Rangiora. The success of the relief effort largely rode on the back of her personal standing in the community as well as her business’s reputation.

The Trust operates in accordance to Larina’s personal commitment to her community.

The Trust began as a one-woman operation in small town New Zealand. Since the inception of Miss Lilly’s Angel Trust, all activities of the Trust have been either self-funded or relied on donated resources from local businesses. We have now grown to a momentum and scale that is beyond the scope of our small community.

Even though the overall activities of the Trust has been focussed on earthquake affected areas, our vision is in creating whole, connected and self-reliant communities throughout the country. The biggest issue identified through the Earthquake Relief was the general intra- and inter- disconnect of families and communities. This concern is not unique to Canterbury.

#ComeTogether is the community wellbeing arm of Miss Lilly’s Angel Trust. We seek to work closely with a mission-driven and value-aligned kiwi corporation so more families across the country can experience and be uplifted by the same connectedness we have inspired in Cantabrians. The campaign officially launches in November 2017 with a series of large scale community events.
