Mercury Theatre 4.23

Welcome to the historic Mercury Theatre in Auckland.

Originally built in 1910 as NZ’s first purpose built performing arts theatre. As one of the oldest surviving theatres in Auckland, the Mercury theatre has a vintage, authentic edge and provides an intimate setting for events. Making it the perfect place to hire for concerts, performances, seminars, meetings and other creative events.

The Main Auditorium
Seats 587 people, but can facilitate up to 651 people.
Includes sound system, basic lighting system, stage and the associated rigging, royal red front curtain.

The Upper Theatre
A smaller theatre with 124 comfortable seats
Includes a sound system and basic lighting.
Ideal for smaller acoustic sets, seminars or teaching sessions.

Available hours: Friday 4 pm - Monday 12 am

Car parking
There is covered and secure public parking across from the Mercury Theatre, with ample sites for all show sizes.
