Marly's Cottage 2.16

Marly's Cottage is a two to three bedroom cottage situated on an acre of beautiful cottage gardens only minutes from Otaki Beach.

From the moment you first walk in the door of Marly's Cottage you are taken straight back to the 50's. You can almost feel time rapidly slowing to a stand still. To this day the cottage retains its original charm and character. From the wood panels in the dining room to the formica in the kitchen, there is a real sense of originality about the place, just great to unwind from today's busy world.

When you first walk in you enter the kitchen which leads to a dining room with French doors opening out on to a sunny north-east facing patio. This sun trap is a superb place to relax with your morning coffee or to sink a good cup of afternoon tea or glass of wine in the evenings. If you would prefer to stay indoors there is a spacious lounge that enjoys the afternoon sun. This room has seen many happy gatherings over the years.

The master bedroom and second bedroom are located off the hall. Both these rooms are a good size, the second bedroom boasting three single beds. The old entrance way houses another single bed as it is rather wide. The bunk room is located off the back porch. In here you'll find a set of steel bunks which is ideal for kids and is still certainly comfortable enough for the adults. Off the hall the bathroom includes a hand basin, shower and toilet. There is also an additional separate toilet, shower and laundry off the porch that adjoins the kitchen. This is great for showering off sand after having spent time on the beach.

All beds have pillows and duvets. You may like to bring towels, pillow cases and sleeping bags or sheets.
