Spring has us involved in preparation of soil for planting of apple trees, hop gardens, maize and grass along with early baleage harvesting. Maize planting is undertaken at this time as well.

Summer is focused on baleage and hay production and sales.

Autumn will still have some late baleage being harvested, maize silage and barley harvesting. A significant amount of ground preparation is undertaken in the autumn as establishing grass is easier without the weed competition that the spring brings. Ground can be ploughed, disced, deep ripped, power harrowed or rotary hoed, direct drilled, cover harrowed and rolled - depending on need.

Winter the "quiet time" has maize grain harvesting and drying, hay, barley straw and baleage loading out and sales along with machinery maintenance, winter ground work - ripping, ploughing, tandem or giant discing.
