My name is Alex Matheson and I’m a Mortgage Adviser with Loan Market Hibiscus Coast which forms part of the larger Loan Market Group. Securing millions in home finance each month in New Zealand, we especially understand the real estate market.

In my down time I enjoy playing a range of sports such as Tennis, Badminton and Squash and enjoy the odd game of Golf. I have lived in both France and Brazil working, studying, learning the languages and being part of a different culture.
Since returning to New Zealand, I have worked in Landscaping and while doing this gained by private pilots licence as I was looking to becoming a commercial pilot. However I soon realised that while I enjoyed flying I did not have the same passion that I had for finance and really enjoyed helping people achieve their goals and dreams. This landed me back in the family business, which is where I truly get the most enjoyment as I am involved right from the start to the end of the journey whether it be for your first, second or third home, an owner occupied property, an investment or a business. I also assist thought out the life of the loan with advise around loan structures and the negotiating of rates.
