Gift certificates expire one (1) month from the date of issue, are not redeemable for cash, are non-refundable and may not be transferred or re-gifted to other persons. The value of the certificate can be partially redeemed over the validity period but must be fully redeemed before expiry. Any unused balance will not be refunded or credited when the certificate expires. Where the cost of service exceeds the available certificate balance, the certificate holder is required to make up the difference with an additional payment. Certificates should be treated like cash. TYPES OF MASSAGE

Mirimiri
Mirimiri or Makoha is a traditional holistic healing massage technique of the Maori, the indigenous people of Aotearoa/New Zealand. Mirimiri harnesses the natural world and its power to heal the physical and spiritual elements of a person’s life. Mirimiri promotes the vibrational exchange between Papatuanuku (Earth Mother) and Hinemoana (Goddess of the Sea) to balance your physical, mental and spiritual energies including your Mauri (life principal, life essence) and Wairua (Spirit).

Swedish Massage
Swedish Massage incorporates long, gentle smooth strokes, kneading and circular movements on layers of muscle using massage lotion. It consists of a specific set of massage movements: effleurage, or sliding movements; petrissage, or kneading movements; friction, or rubbing; vibration and percussion. It also includes passive and active joint movements, stretching and bending joints.

Trigger Point Therapy
Trigger Point Therapy massage is a form of Remedial Massage Therapy in which direct pressure is applied to specified points on tender muscle tissue to reduce muscle tension, stress, anxiety and pain. It is a healing technique based on the principle of free and uninterrupted energy flow promoting physical, spiritual and emotional wellbeing.

Deep Tissue
Deep Tissue massage incorporates firm pressure and slow strokes to reach deeper layers of muscle and fascia (the connective tissue surrounding muscles). It's used to relieve chronic aches and pain in contracted areas such as the neck, upper back, lower back pain, legs and shoulders.

Prenatal Therapy
Personalised to relax tense muscles, ease sore spots and improve general circulation and mobility of pregnant women. Prenatal Therapy assists to remedy many of the common discomforts experienced during pregnancy including muscular discomforts, lower-back pain, upper-back pain, headaches, leg cramps, stiffness, tension and knots.
