This is the Albany branch that was established in 2014, we are proud to say we have been providing people in the Albany area and around the North Shore the opportunity to experience the Italian way ever since.

This is what La Porchetta is all about: we pride ourselves in being renowned for our delicious range of tasty pastas, pizzas and traditional dishes made with the best quality ingredients available.

With 74 stores in total located both here in New Zealand and Australia where it all began, La Porchetta Albany is here on the Shore to take that urge for Italian to a reality.

This is how it all began,

In the year of 1985, business partners Rocco (Rocky) and Felice Nania took under their wing a lost little pizza parlor called 'La Porchetta' in Carlton, Melbourne, and made it their own. They combined the European style with the freshest and finest quality ingredients and the their little but simple secret ingredient; that being the love to cook and make delicious meals. Thus creating something magical they made it possible and affordable with price ranges for families to enjoy. This concept then turned that little pizza parlor and made it into the thriving business it is today.

It quickly became a sensation and in five years the second restaurant opened for business. In 2001, the first La Porchetta opened in New Zealand and it to thrived with the locals.

All La Porchetta stores are unique, but built to that same original concept Rocco and Felice created. We love our community and look to provide our people with our love for Italian food with that same passion. So here we are in 2014, opening and providing our locals and people who simply love Italian; with the same experience and delicious meals La Porchetta is known for. With our variety of meals at reasonable price ranges and great friendly customer service at our relaxed setting, customers are said to call La Porchetta as their own Italian kitchen.
