Details

The Railway hosts a collection of live steam, internal combustion and battery electric locomotives. The track is a double loop and includes one station, two tunnels, a spiral and two viaducts. An recent extension has taken the railway within sight of the beach and Kapiti Island bringing the main line to just under 1km in length. The journey takes about 7 minutes.
