Raised garden beds are a versatile and cost-effective way to quickly establish a vegetable garden in your back yard, or even on your deck or patio. No great outlay is required, and the time and labour required to set these up is minimal compared to preparing and digging your own vegetable plot. Sustainable living and minimising our carbon footprint is the way of the future and growing your own healthy, organic veges is an excellent way to start. Do not be discouraged into thinking that you need a large section for this...I have installed these into very tight spaces and even on inner city apartment balconies.

Here at Greenworx Gardens we specialise in creating long-life timber raised gardens and planters that we construct out of untreated Macrocarpa timber. Macrocarpa is naturally resistant to rot and chemical-free, and being untreated, will not leach harmful chemicals into your soil. It is therefore a great option for organic gardening or just those who want to avoid unwanted chemicals in their food. We also use stainless steel screws which will not rust in an outdoor environment - the raised gardens we build are very solid in construction and will hold together for years, they will not fall apart after one season like some cheaper ones that are available.

We are based in Howick, Auckland and pickup is available. We also provide delivery Auckland-wide for an extra fee and have also delivered as far afield as Tauranga, Hamilton and Whitianga - if you are not in Auckland please feel free to ask - we love getting out and about!
