Back Story...

As a mother and grandmother I have been baking for my family for 4 decades now, however as a busy business women I found I had less and less time to spend in the kitchen. So I started looking at ways to speed up my baking process, which meant sometimes I would forgo icing my cakes, slices, cupcakes or muffins. I then began looking for a quick alternative product at the supermarkets.

After an extensive search for a no additive chocolate icing, nothing was found in New Zealand or in Australian stores. The only icing available was a plain chocolate frosting that stayed sticky, was full of numbers and stuff I couldn't pronounce, and when used on my baking, made a mess on everything it touched.

I was looking for a quick and easy natural chocolate icing that could be spread on my baking, but then would set firm and dry and didn't mess up the lunch boxes, cake tins or my floor! - every mothers wish.

I decided the world now needed a better icing. After sourcing the very best natural products from New Zealand, experimenting with the volumes, consistency and taste I developed the perfect setting icing - every time.

Pure natural fruit flavours were then sourced also from New Zealand and that's when the fun began. I combined pure fruit extracts to support the already divine Chocolate Fudge Icing Mix.

Focus groups were then assembled and field tests were conducted with the Fudge Icing Mix range. The results were instantly staggering.

Granny Delicious went into production and in 2016 quickly appeared on shelves in major supermarkets throughout NZ.

Following on from this success I expanded the range to include 6 more delicious natural "NO Additive" baking products.
