We construct our yurts with consideration for geographical position and in accordance with good permaculture practice. We use only fully certified materials, which have been tested and verified by German and Austrian building authorities. A variety of new canvas materials tested for South Pacific weather conditions, with high salinity and strong sun, are used for cover. Only natural waxes and oils for timber, floor, subfloor and construction surfaces finish are used. These create a healthy, internal living environment with no harmful components which could evaporate into the yurt. The internal insulation material is certified sheep fleece.

We provide each yurt with a fireplace. There is also the option of decks, an additional outdoor kitchen and/or bathroom, a summer or winter insulated floor system and independent solar panels, making your yurt totally independent of the grid.

Standard models are 4.5m, 6m and 8m in diameter. We offer two options on the skylight: the standard Mongolian Tono or the cutting edge glass Tono. The glass Tono consists of four layers and can be up to 2m in diameter. It employs a solar control system which keeps the yurt cool in hot weather.
