Duke Hostel is the only hostel that's right in the heart of Greymouth, near the Train Station, Bus Stop and all amenities. We only five minutes drive to the beach and 2 minutes walk to the famous Grey River.
We are the only hostel in Greymouth to offer ensuite rooms (private bathroom) as well double, twin, single and shared/dorm rooms. All rooms are fully made up (all linen supplied).

After traveling around the world for a few years, including Asia, Europe, America, South America and the Pacific we have decided to quit our jobs as a lawyer and a teacher and to start a backpackers hostel, that was 11 years ago and we still loving it.
