Our beautifully presented family cottage is located minutes from the Cust village in North Canterbury in a very peaceful rural setting on our sheep and beef farm.

Here you can sit and relax on the deck taking in distant mountain views while enjoying a good book or a glass of wine.

This very peaceful private cottage is ideal for those touring the South Island of New Zealand wishing to stay in rural settings and meet 4th and 5th generation Kiwis on the land or those who just want a weekend of peace and quiet away from the city as this is only 35 mins from Christchurch and the Christchurch international airport.

Our self-contained cottage has a queen bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the lounge with TV with Freeview and Wifi.

A well equipped kitchen with stove and microwave and BBQ on the deck.

Within 5 – 15 minutes there is a good variety of restaurants and cafes.

The many attractions include Jet Boating, Bush Walks and Tramping, Horse Treks, Fly Fishing including Guided Fly Fishing on Lakes and Rivers, Skiing 55mins from Porters Ski Field as well as Broken River, Craigieburn, Mt Olympus and Mt Cheeseman.

Just 25minutes to a variety of Beaches and 40 minutes to Vineyards north of us.

From this area, you can be doing many different activities within 10 minutes to 1 ½ hours traveling from picnicking at Ashley Gorge to relaxing in the hot pools at Hanmer Springs.
