Covenant Grace is a Reformed Baptist Church, holding to the great doctrines emphasised during the Reformation as set forth in documents such as the Belgic Confession, Canons of Dort, Heidelberg Catechism, Westminster Confession of Faith, and Baptist Confession of Faith (1689). The name Covenant Grace refers to the Covenant of Grace outlined in the 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith, chapter 7, paragraph 2, where "it pleased the Lord to make a covenant of grace, wherein he freely offers unto sinners life and salvation by Jesus Christ, requiring of them faith in him, that they may be saved; and promising to give unto all those that are ordained unto eternal life, his Holy Spirit, to make them willing and able to believe."
