Clarity Glass by Roz Speirs 2.43

It all started with a garage clear out. A whole cupboard of crafty things I'd brought from the UK 12 years ago but never used, yet I couldn't part with them. It got me to thinking why? Why am I hanging onto this stuff that I'm clearly never going to do anything with. Aha! Clearly I have a creative itch that needs to be scratched, something yet to explored. Solution: book a number of courses in things I've never done before to see what happens...might lead to something....might just get it out my system so I can clear that cupboard finally. So, a one day glass fusing course in Wanganui (plus a day's travelling either side) and I was hooked! (Thanks David Traub!) Invested in a small kiln that goes in the microwave to fuse small pieces of glass, and yet more fun was had.... And now the itch has developed into a bit of a rash, hence my current "glass odyssey" in the UK, learning different techniques in glass fusing from the best of the best. Having a play, having fun - some things work, some don't, and some blow my mind! But I know this will be a journey I'll be on for a long time to come.
