Christchurch Helicopters is based in Christchurch, New Zealand. We are NZCAA Part 141 and 135 approved, offering a range of services for those who may simply want to obtain a Private Pilots Licence in order to fly for recreation; individuals who wish to operate helicopters as a career with a Commercial Pilots Licence, and others wishing to enhance their skills and abilities with an Instructor rating, sling rating, night rating and more. Christchurch Helicopters are also available to those seasoned professionals looking at requiring further Type Ratings and Biennial Flight Reviews.

Limited student numbers means personalized career training at Christchurch Helicopters Training. We are happy to be the small guys offering flight training to a select few who aim to achieve safe and highly professional standards.

Pacific Helicopters is proud to be the first in New Zealand to receive the new revolutionary Guimbal Cabri G2 Helicopter.

The Cabri G2 is the only piston helicopter designed from scratch with the safety of its occupants as top priority. It delivers a level of safety that was until now reserved for the military and a few expensive turbine helicopters. In fact it is the only piston engine helicopter to be certified under EASA CS-27 and FAA Far 27 rules.
