Over 20 years ago, Benedicte Elaine Lecoanet arrived in New Zealand from France. She fell in love with the raw beauty and stunning landscapes of this special part of the world and continues to live here today.

Bene has always been passionate about natural cosmetic products but could never find one that suited her skin type. As she has been in the beekeeping and honey business for many years, she decided to create her own natural skin care range too.

Abelha Natural Skin Care is the result of Bene's passion to create a beautiful range using natural and organic ingredients and of course her own Active Manuka Honey too!

Active Manuka Honey, Avocado Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil, Evening Primrose and Lavender Essential Oil's are just some of the gorgeous natural ingredients used in the Abelha range. Bee Venom is also used, as it has wonderful natural anti-ageing properties.
