Varibel Hearing Glasses 3.55

Over the last years Varibel, the company, went through several stages of the business cycle. What stands are satisfied users over the years who finally can enjoy conversations in noise without any problem.

The first development, at an early stage, was done in cooperation with Philips Electronics BV and the Technical University of Delft in the Netherlands.

In 2006 Varibel made the hearing glasses commercially available to the public and draw attention of the international audiology society. Various studies were undertaken and all of these studies resulted in the same conclusion. For understanding speech in a noisy environment the hearing glasses are significantly better compared to hearing aids.

After a somewhat more quiet period Varibel restarted operations in 2011 and added some innovative features to their product. One of these features is the “receiver-in-the canal” option which is attached through a patented magnet connection to the temple of the glasses.

During 2012 new attempts were undertaken to commercialize the optimized product in the Netherlands. Step by step Varibel is gaining more ground, supported by the positive feedback we are receiving from old- en new users.

The year 2014 will mark the internationalization of the company to selected countries throughout the world.
