Vaaggrond is te bezoeken va 25 december 2014tot en met 4 januari 2015. Er is werk te zien van een groeiende groep conceptueel professioneel werkende kunstenaars. Zij gebruiken de locale natuur & cultuur om hun werk te ontwerpen én in diezelfde natuur te exposeren.

Centrale thematiek van de kunstenaars is groei, bloei, vergankelijkheid en ontworteling. Een bosperceel verandert daardoor in een lokaal museum zonder muren. Deze is laagdrempelig en uniek in zijn soort.

De expositie is te bezichtigen bij Atelier Els Börger, Kleine Vliet 1d, 5507PX Veldhoven (Oerle). Toegang € 2,50. Geopend van 11.00 tot 17.00 uur.

Rondleiding gids
Om 11.30, 13.30, en 14.30 uur zijn er rondleidingen door een gids. Je kunt luisteren naar boeiende verhalen en beweegredenen van kunstenaars.

* Vaaggrond is to visit on 25 December 2014 until 4 January 2015. There is work by a growing group of conceptual artists working professionally. They use the local nature and culture to present their work to design and to exhibit in the same nature.

* Vorstvaaggrond is a Dutch word used by archaeologists and soil scientists. It concerns an old by now-covered humus layer of in the soil, which shows that there used to in this area, agricultural activities have taken place. Artists in Vaaggrond response to this and give this humus layer a new contemporary meaning.
